Career options

Normally I don’t blog about work here on theredonion.ca. But I think it’s important to note that my employer announced on Monday that they have agreed to be purchased by another company.

Naturally, the company would say that it’s a great fit and that our businesses complement one another. But it there is potential for layoffs. I can only hope that they keep me for at least two more years so I can get finish my education.

I’m not afraid of being let go, but I need to start looking around… Just in case. You’ll never know.
